Twitter Pizza BTC Bot

A really fun and simple project I cobbled over the weekend. I used Coin Gecko to get the latest Bitcoin price about every 10/15 minutes and used cron-job.org to call an api url to trigger the bot to post on X (formally Twitter). Also used Giphy to pull in a random GIF related to crypto.

Right now the bot is not active as render on the free plan spins down an instance when not in use, causing the cron job to fail. I plan on deploying this somewhere else, maybe to Vercel in the future. You can find the bot here: Pizza Bot
